Netbooks are commonly known as compact,minimalist,lightweight and a cheaper version of laptops.Netbooks were first introduced in late 2007.Netbooks have some limitations as compared to laptops but also have their own advantages.
Netbooks are good choice for students because its easy to handle and carry them and a person can easily access internet ,browse and can do assignments or presentations..They are more cost-effective ,cheaper and lighter in weight as compared to laptops.They have lower processing power so usually used for carring out basic computional tasks.Netbooks also lack optical disc drives so a exterornal optional disc drive will have to attach or install softwares.Some Netbooks offer longer battery life too.

"EARTH HOUR"
Millions of people world wide switched off lights and appliances for an hour in a gesture to raise environmental problems.The World Wildlife Fund has organized fourth annual "Earth Hour" on 27 March 2010.Yesterday,the world has been turned in dark during 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm at local time of the countries. People turned off their lights and electrical appliances.
The idea behind this was that to create awareness to take action on continuously changes in climate .The first Earth Hour was celebrated at Sydney , Australia in 2007 when people were asked to turned off their lights for an hour.
As we all know that the global warming and its subsequent adverse impacts become a great challenge for humanity .Most of the scientific evidence proved that global warming is increasing due to green house gas emissions that are related to the human activities.Humans must be aware of harmful effects of their activities on climate .
Last year some 88 countries has celebrated it but this time more than 4,000 cities of 120 countries took part in this world campaign of Earth Hour to save the environment of Earth.The Eiffel Tower in Paris , the Empire State Building in New York, Petrina's Twin Towers in Malaysia,Opera house in Sydney had gone in dark for the global participation to save our Earth.
